DO'S DON'TS
Do carry your mattress flat or on its side. Its easier to handle and less likely to damage the mattress. Don't use the handles to carry your mattress. They are to be used for positioning only.
Do keep your bedding clean. Don't remove the label at the end of your mattress, as this has the identification needed to establish your warranty rights. Do vacuum your mattress regularly. Don't bend your mattress under any circumstances. Such treatment may damage the inner spring unit.
Do use a washable Mattress Protector to keep your mattress fresh and free from stains.Don't expose to fire or place near open flame, as the mattress can ignite and / or burn. When ignited, some bedding materials can burn and emit smoke and hazardous gases. Do let your new sleep set "air" upon removal from its plastic packaging. Don't let the kids use the mattress as a trampoline. Do replace your foundation when purchasing a new mattress to provide the proper support for your new mattress. Do turn your mattress every month to maintain the comfort of your mattress
ROTATION CYCLE
It is important to turn your bed on a regular basis in order to maintain the comfort of your mattress and extend its lifespan. BODY IMPRESSIONS
The layers of foams and fibres used in many mattresses today are designed to cradle your body, relieving pressure and providing comfort in addition to support.
After sleeping on your mattress for a couple of nights (even weeks), you will notice slight body impressions in the mattress surface. These are normal, and not structural defects, and should not be confused with sagging. In fact, body impressions of up to about 4cm can occur.
Proper care will help prevent sagging, and should include regular rotation of the mattress.
